my wacky idea i was babbling to jon on the way home:

terrorists have occupied a region in CLA (zones 1 and 2) and are heavily armed but have a restricted amount of ammo (ie they have aeg weapons but only 300 rounds)
a liberating force was airdropping in but the company making their rifle slings was pish and their rifles dropped to the ground leaving them useless so they are only armed with their pistols that were cleverly holstered.
the terrorist group are out their tree crazy and when shooting the infidels that are invading their occupied land they have to do the muchly sterotyped "lalalala" scream when firing their gun, which they of course enjoy but constantly gives away their position.
results: terrorists may have range and rate of fire over the liberating force but the liberating force can act on a more tactical level and get some good pistol "assassinations"
game can run for a 20 min warmup or just until one side is wiped out
added wackyness (but this bit is entirely optional) each player has 2 lives, once shot for the first time the terrorists can only shoot from the hip and the govt forces can only shoot with their other hand (ie if youre right handed you not hold the gun with your left hand as your right hand has been blown off )

so aye, you asked for wacky you got wacky

A bit unfair to those without pistols or pistols with decent range though.

Games should not alienate any players because of lack of equipment. Not everyone has the money to spend on this hobby thats others have and do.

IMHO

Clearly only those with pistols will be on the pistol side, those that are there playing are gonna have at least an AEG!!!!!

As it stands we only have 4 players without pistols, and they can easily get them from the "loan pool" that the staff have.

Hate to tell you is but I only got one hand so if I'am on the government forces I will need to use my feet's so I hope you have all got gas mask's . But I think the pistol idea this a good one
